Claire Riley was just 27 when she was told she needed a liver transplant due to chronic liver disease. Thanks to the NHS Organ Donation Register, the transplant went ahead in 2004 allowing Claire to live life to the full and go on to become a mum to two healthy children.
Claire said: "I have every faith in the NHS with regards to the treatment I've received at Edinburgh Royal Transplant Unit. The whole team are amazing at what they do and I feel very lucky to be in their care. I trust their decisions 100%. Their knowledge still astounds me as does what they are continuing to research and discover."
