Simone Brawley

The NHS was there for Simone Brawley, of Glasgow, when she struggled to conceive. If it wasn't for the innovation they've championed she wouldn't have her little boy with her today.

She said: "I was told I wouldn't be able to conceive naturally and had three rounds of fertility treatment which unfortunately failed. But doctors didn't give up on me, they sent me for an x-ray of my fallopian tubes and used a dye to clean them through. Shortly after this I was shocked and so thrilled to find out I was pregnant. I now have a beautiful baby boy who is 17 weeks old. The NHS supported me all the way through my pregnancy and kept a close eye on me. I am so grateful to all the doctors, nurses and midwives that looked after me and I can't thank them all enough."
